Subprocessors
Effective September 2026. Issued by Casaway Capital, LLC, DBA Dental Document.
These are the third parties that process data on our instructions in order to run Atlas. The list is split by plan, because the two plans do not touch the same systems.
A Core customer's data never reaches a practice management rail, because Core has no practice management connection. The second list below applies only to Connect.
We hold a business associate agreement with every subprocessor that processes protected health information on your behalf.
Both plans
| Subprocessor | What it processes |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Application database, authentication, and file storage for your account and your second brain. |
| Latitude.sh | Dedicated compute in the United States where agent work executes, in isolated single-use workspaces. |
| Vercel | Hosting and content delivery for this website and the Atlas application. |
| Stripe | Subscription billing and payment processing. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Atlas. |
| Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google | Language model inference for agent reasoning and drafting. Which provider handles a given request depends on the task. |
| Resend | Transactional email, such as sign-in, approval, and notification messages. |
| PostHog | Product analytics, to see how the product is used and where it fails. |
| Sentry | Error and performance monitoring for the application. |
On Core, none of the above receives patient data, because no patient data enters Atlas on Core.
Connect only
Connect adds a connection to your practice management system. That connection runs through one integration provider, under a business associate agreement.
| Subprocessor | What it processes |
|---|---|
| Sikka | The practice management integration. Reads scheduling, production, collections, accounts receivable, unscheduled treatment, and claims data from your practice management system, and writes back the appointment and record changes you approve. Under a business associate agreement. |
How the connection is provisioned. It runs on an established integration relationship held under the Dental Document brand, so a Dental Document account is provisioned for your practice as part of setting up Connect. You do not need to purchase Dental Document and you sign in to Atlas directly. We name it here because it is part of the processing chain for your data.
Changes
We will update this page when we add or remove a subprocessor. Questions go to support@dentalatlasai.com.
