Two plans. Same team on both.
Every agent Atlas has is on both plans. No agent is held back to sell you an upgrade. The difference between Core and Connect is not what Atlas can do, it is what Atlas knows.
Core
The full agent team, working from what you give it.
or $290.83/mo billed annually
Every agent Atlas has. No practice management connection, no patient data, and nothing sent to a patient. Atlas works from your documents, your protocols, your figures, and your inbox.
Continue on Dental DocumentConnect
The same team, working from your practice data.
or $457.50/mo billed annually
Everything in Core, plus the practice management connection. The same agents now see your real schedule, production, and ledger, so they can book, work the recall list, chase unscheduled treatment, and report on your actual numbers.
Atlas Connect is set up with us, not at a checkout
Atlas Connect includes a live connection to your practice management system. That connection is provisioned with you before the first charge, which is longer than a trial, so it is set up through onboarding rather than bought at a checkout.
Annual billing is ten months for twelve. Prices are per practice, not per seat.
Add Avery, the AI receptionist
Avery answers your phone, texts, and web chat, day and night. Add it to either plan for $200 a month with 100 AI-handled calls included, then $3.00 per call. Atlas runs the office; Avery covers the front desk.
Avery is not bought here. You add it in Dental Document when you set up your account, or any time after.
Signup completes on Dental Document
Atlas is part of Dental Document. Clicking Continue takes you to dentaldocument.com, where you create your account, sign the business associate agreement, and enter payment. Dental Document handles the agreement, HIPAA compliance, and the security program, and Atlas is covered by all of it.
Once you are set up, you launch Atlas from your Dental Document dashboard, and you sign in there from then on.
The trial
14 days, on Core
Core has a 14-day trial. Connect does not, and the reason is worth stating plainly rather than hiding: standing up a practice management connection, including payer enrollment, takes longer than fourteen days. A Connect trial would expire before the product finished setting up, which would be a bad trial and a worse first impression.
So practices trial the workforce on Core, then connect the practice after subscribing to Connect. The connection is set up with you after you subscribe. It is not instant, and we would rather say so now than surprise you later.
What to compare it to
Atlas competes with headcount, not with software
The honest comparison is not another app. It is the part-time front-office help you have thought about hiring for this exact work. That is a number you can check, because it is your own payroll.
Run it with your own wage
20 hours a week is 1,040 hours a year. Multiply by the hourly wage you would actually pay, then add payroll taxes and burden, which typically runs in the mid to high teens as a percentage.
As a worked example, at $22 an hour that is $22,880 in wages, and about $27,000 once you add roughly 18 percent burden. Substitute your own wage and your own burden rate; the point is the shape, not our number.
Atlas Core, a year
$4,188
That is $349 a month for twelve months. On annual billing it is $3,490, which is $290.83 a month.
Atlas does not take breaks, does not leave, and does not need to be retrained when it does.
We do not publish a price range for dental virtual assistant services, because we do not have a sourced market study to stand behind and a made-up range is not worth the ink. Your own payroll is the better benchmark anyway.

Everything Core cannot do, before you buy
Here is the rule that governs this whole table: every capability closed on Core is closed because it needs practice data. Nothing is withheld to push you to the higher plan. If a job can be done from what you give Atlas, it is on Core.

Read this before you choose Core
Three limits worth saying in plain words
A table row is easy to skim past. These three are the ones practices misread, so they get sentences instead of cells.
Core sends nothing to a patient
This is the single largest practical limit of Core and it should not be inferred from a table. On Core, no agent contacts a patient. No text, no email, no call, no reminder, no recall message. Patient-facing work is Connect.
Core triages the inbox but cannot book
On Core the agent reads the inbox, sorts it, and drafts replies for you. It cannot book, move, or confirm an appointment, because it cannot see your schedule. If a patient emails asking to move Thursday, Core drafts the reply and a human moves the appointment.
Core cannot read the ledger
On Core the finance work runs on documents and figures you supply. It will build the analysis, the summary, and the report from what you give it, but it cannot open your ledger, so production, collections, and aging come from you rather than from the practice.
Usage
An allowance, not a surprise bill
A run is one task reaching a finished state. Not a token, not a message, not a credit. Both plans include the same allowance, per practice, per month.
1,000
Runs you start
Anything you or your team asks Atlas to do.
300
Runs on a schedule
Counted separately, and lower on purpose: a schedule does not get bored the way a person does.
10
Active schedules
Each running no more often than hourly.
If you reach an allowance, Atlas pauses that work until the next cycle rather than quietly running up a bill. You will see it coming, and the cap can be raised if your practice needs more.
A paused task is not a failed task. It is not retried, it does not consume an approval, and it starts again on its own at the beginning of the next month, or immediately if you raise the allowance.
We will not reduce your included allowances during a term you have paid for. If we change them, the change applies at your next renewal, with notice, the same way a price change does.
Compliance
Compliance is the same on both plans
Atlas is HIPAA compliant, operated by Casaway Capital, LLC under the same business associate agreement and the same Delve-managed security program as Dental Document. Every customer signs that agreement at signup, before any use, on either plan.
What differs between the plans is not compliance, it is whether Atlas reaches patient data at all. Connect does, through the practice management connection. Core has no practice management connection, so it works with no patient records. Both are covered.
A protected clinical space
Protected patient information is isolated, reached only through controlled and monitored paths, and logged on every access.
Your practice management system stays the source of truth
Atlas reads from it and writes back what you approve. It does not become a second, competing record of your practice.
Dedicated infrastructure
Atlas runs on dedicated infrastructure, not shared consumer cloud, with each practice sealed off from every other.
A managed security program
The security program is managed with Delve and is SOC 2 aligned. Questions before you subscribe go to sales@dentalatlasai.com.
Moving up
Core to Connect adds the connection, nothing else changes
There is no migration and no rebuild. The agents are the same agents. Every SOP you wrote, every protocol you filed, every custom agent you built, and every approval rule you set in Core carries straight over and keeps working. What changes is that the same team can now see your schedule, production, and ledger.
The connection is set up with you after you subscribe to Connect. It is not instant.
More than one location?
Core and Connect are priced for a single practice. Multi-location groups and DSOs are a different shape and we price them individually rather than self-serve. Talk to us if any of these describe you:
- You operate more than one location.
- You are a DSO or a group practice structure.
- You need centralized billing or reporting that spans multiple practices.
