How it works
You describe the job. Atlas does it.
There is nothing to install and nothing to configure. The hardest part is deciding which job to hand over first.
Tell it the job
Describe the work the way you would explain it to a new hire. What the job is, what it must never do, and what a good result looks like. Or start from an agent that already knows the job.
It learns the practice
Atlas reads your second brain: protocols, phone scripts, brand voice, and the documents you have filed. That is what makes the output sound like your office instead of a generic one.
It plans the work
The agent breaks the job into steps and shows you the plan before it starts, so you find out what it intends to do before it does it.
It does the work
The agent runs the job in an isolated workspace, doing the actual steps rather than describing them. It works on a schedule or on a trigger, so it does not wait to be asked.
It stops for you
Anything that reaches a patient, a payer, or a vendor, or that spends money, queues for your approval. You approve, adjust, or reject.
You get a record
Every step is logged in plain language. The quality review agent scores the result against the criteria you set, and you can stop any agent at any time.
A worked example
The unscheduled treatment list, on Connect
- You say: work the unscheduled treatment list every Tuesday, start with cases over $1,500 presented in the last ninety days, and never contact anybody who has asked us not to.
- Atlas pulls the list from your practice management system, filtered the way you asked, and checks each one against your contact preferences.
- It draftsa message per patient in your practice's voice, referencing the actual treatment that was presented, not a template blast.
- It stops and queues them for approval, because these reach patients.
- You review the batch, approve most, edit one, drop two.
- It sends, logs, and picks the thread back up next Tuesday, including the follow-ups on anybody who replied.
On Core the same agent will draft from a list you provide, but it cannot pull the list itself and cannot send to a patient. That is the difference the practice management connection makes.
Underneath
What is actually running
You talk to Atlas. Underneath, three open layers do the work: a knowledge vault, a memory and planning brain, and an operator that takes the actions. Atlas integrates, secures, and maintains all three so you never touch them.
Obsidian and Hermes are trademarks of their respective owners. Atlas is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
